Toilet & Plumbing Problems
If your toilet is clogged, you can use a plunger to push the clog through the pipes. Do not flush your toilet multiple times! This may cause the toilet to flood.
Pump your plunger multiple times and then lift it to see if the water drains. If nothing has changed, repeat the process.
If your drain clogs, you can use a plunger to try to create suction in the pipe. You may also want to try using drain cleaning products, but please don't use anything caustic that could damage the pipes.
If you lose electrical power in your property, call your utility company to see whether they have any answers. There may be a simple reason behind the outage, such as construction or fallen lines.
Tripped Circuit Breaker?
If you overload the electrical circuit in your home, you may trip the breaker. Check that yours hasn't been tripped by locating the breaker and verifying whether that the lever is in the ON position.
No Hot Water
If you don't have any hot water in your property, locate your water heater and check the settings on the tank. You can try to cycle the tank to reset it or increase the temperature; if you make any changes, please wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water again.
A/C and Furnace Problems
If your air conditioning or furnace isn't working properly, your climate control may be impacted. Check your home's central thermostat and make sure no settings have been changed accidentally.
